Police in Edinburgh are appealing for information to help trace a man with dementia who has gone missing in the west of the city.
Samuel Gibson, known locally as Tommy, was last seen around 5pm yesterday near to his home address in Stenhouse Drive.
Since then the 77-year-old has not been seen or heard from, and concern is growing for his safety.
He is described as white, 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in tall, slim build, with short black hair that is combed back. He is believed to be wearing a blue lightweight jacket, denim jeans and black shoes.
Inspector Bob Innes, from Police Scotland, said: “Mr Gibson has dementia, and concern is growing for his safety the longer he remains missing.
