Then came the Scottish Cup parade

One week ago today Hibees were waking up all over the place (literally!) with the happy feeling that just hours before we had seen our team, Hibernian, lift the elusive Scottish Cup after a 114-year wait.  Liam Henderson’s corner placed perfectly for David Gray’s header into the back of the net and we had it. The Scottish Cup. In our lifetimes.

They’ll go down in history

Next would come the parade on Sunday.  From the Lawnmarket to Leith Links.  There are so many pictures of that day floating about so today, a week after the parade I thought I might share some of mine.  It includes the “Hibs dug” that appeared in the Edinburgh Evening News souviner edition.

Enjoy and please ask permission if wishing to use any of them.
